Warehouse Wishlist

Hi everyone!

I was browsing the Warehouse website the other day and they have so many things that I love in at the minute so I thought I’d put together a Warehouse wish list :) As you will see there are a lot of floral items that I have been lusting over and I love the pastel colours that are around for spring as well.

Hope you enjoyed reading xx

Benefit Hervana Blusher Review

Hi guys :)

Despite the hype that this blusher has received, I hadn’t really thought much of the Hervana Box-O-Powder before and wasn’t immediately drawn to it. Then one day after forgetting to put blusher on (too much rushing for work!), I went to the Benefit counter at work to ask if I could use some. The girl on the counter recommended Hervana and as soon as I tried it I knew I had to have it.

Hervana contains four different shades: Lucky Shell, Divine Peach, Heavenly Rose and Berry Delight which all blend together to create a gorgeous cool pink shade. I have fairly pale skin and think it compliments my skin tone really nicely and adds a lovely flush of colour to the cheeks. It’s not the most pigmented of blushes but I think this is why it looks more natural and you can build it up if needed.

The packaging is the same as all the other Box-O-Powders and although they look really cute and I like the graphics they use, I do think the box style is not the best. This blusher also has a slight scent to it which I’m not overly keen on but it does fade very quickly once on the skin so it’s not too much of an issue for me.

Overall I would give Hervana a big thumbs up and would especially recommend it to all you guys that have paler skin as I think it compliments my skin tone really nicely. Although the Box-O-Powders are a bit on the pricey side at £23.50 each, I definitely think they are worth it and seem to last ages before you even hit the pan.

Have any of you tried Hervana? What did you think?

Top 5 Lipglosses!

Hi everyone :)

Recently I have become a bit obsessed with lipglosses and have been wearing them every day, whereas I never really bothered with them as much before. I find that they have really been helping to keep my lips moisturised and I like that they add a swash of colour without being too over the top. To help justify my growing collection I thought I would blog about my favourite lipglosses and do a top five run down on the ones that I have been using most.

Left to right: Tanya Burr Picnic in the Park, NYX Beige, Tanya Burr Aurora, Sephora Miami Pink and Avon Glazewear Sparkle Shimmering Amethyst

1)    Tanya Burr Lipgloss, Picnic in the Park

This is the most recent addition to my collection which arrived on my doorstep last week. I love the gorgeous creamy pink colour of this lipgloss and think it will be one I wear a lot throughout spring and summer.

2)    NYX, Beige

I think this lipgloss is named really badly as the colour is not in the slightest bit beige but is a lovely rosy pink colour. This one also smells absolutely delicious but the scent is quite strong so if you don’t like glosses that have a fragrance you might want to pass on this one.

3)    Tanya Burr Lipgloss, Aurora

As you can probably tell by now I am a sucker for a pink lipgloss and nearly all of the ones in my collection are some sort of variation of pink. This one made it into my February Favourites post and is probably my favourite lipgloss at the moment. I love that it leaves a kind of stain on the lips so it lasts absolutely ages before you need to reapply.

4)    Sephora, Miami Pink

This is the only lipgloss that I have ever repurchased! It’s a subtle shimmery pink and I probably use it more over the top of a lipstick as opposed to on its own. I really like pairing it with Angel from MAC.

5)    Avon Glazewear Sparkle, Shimmering Amethyst

I have been using this berry pink gloss a lot throughout winter but I think it’s one that will work really well in the hotter weather too. It has quite a bit of shimmer in it as it is from the Glazewear Sparkle range but it doesn’t look too over the top.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I’d love to hear which lipglosses you would recommend so that I can add even more to my collection :)

Thanks for reading xx
