My Top 5 Bronzers

Hi everyone,

I thought I might start a new series of ‘top 5’ products and this time I am going to cover bronzers. I am really into bronzers at the moment and as I have such pale skin naturally, I use them every day. When I was younger I would make the mistake of buying a darker foundation but then would end up with the awful line around my jaw! I have since learnt (the hard way) that it’s much better to buy a foundation that matches your natural skin tone and apply bronzer to get a lovely, glowing tanned look. So here is the countdown of my top 5 bronzers…..

5)  Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer (£24) – In at number 5 I’ve got the Clinique True Bronze powder. There is both a pink toned and a red toned version of this bronzer available and I have the pinker one (Sunkisssed) which I think suits me very well. It is really easy to blend and can be built up for a deeper colour when needed but it also looks so natural.

4) Bourjois Délice de Poudre ‘Chocolate’ Bronzer (£7.99) – This bronzer has had so much hype surrounding it and I can definitely see why so many people love it. I have the lighter of the two shades available and it provides me with a gorgeous, natural looking tan. I also really like the Délice de Poudre Gold Bronzing Powder and the Duo Bronzer and Highlighter palette but the original will always be my favourite of the three.

3)  Benefit One Hot Minute (£23.50) – I was sold this product on the promise that I would get an ‘Eva Longoria glow’ from using it (I’m a sucker for the spiel I know!). Now I can’t say that using it makes me look like a world famous actress or a supermodel but I do really like the finish it provides. It gives quite a shimmery glow to the skin more than a bronzed look but it looks really natural and just finishes off my makeup perfectly. I rediscovered this product recently after it had got forgotten about at the back of my makeup drawer and I have fallen in love with it all over again.

2)  Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette Bronzer (£22.50) – I find it difficult to choose between the bronzers in the Naked Flushed palettes as I like them all really and they are all so easy to work with. Strip is perhaps a little too dark for me and I have to apply to very sparingly. I think if I had to choose, I would go with the original palette as this just seems to be the one I have been reaching for the most.

1)   Nars Laguna Bronzer (£27.50) – No surprises with this one really and a firm favourite with many beauty bloggers and vloggers. This is my all-time favourite bronzer and I love it for the natural glow it gives my skin. It’s so easy to apply and blends effortlessly giving me the perfect bronzed goddess look. This is the only bronzer that I have ever rebought and any other bronzer is going to have to be pretty spectacular to knock it off my top spot.

What do you think of my top 5 bronzer picks? Which bronzers would you recommend?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah x

  1. I've only recently started to use bronzer so this list of favourites is very helpful to me. The UD palette has been on my wish list for a very long time, might just have to pick it up soon.

  4. @Bubblybex3 I love Benefit Hoola as well but I've not used it in a while so I'll have to dig it out again :) The Lord & Berry one sounds lovely, I'll have to keep an eye out for that one! xx
