Hi everyone,
We finally have an internet connection
at home! We got the keys to our new house in August 2015 and since then it has
been a constant battle to try and get a phone line and internet installed at
our house but it’s finally over. Although this is fab news, it has meant that
my internet browsing has reached an all-time high as I am making up for lost
time and this, of course, is terrible for my bank balance. There are so many
beauty and makeup products that are on my wish list at the moment with many
more making their way on there every day. Here are a few of the things that
will no doubt be making it into my online basket very soon!
1)
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – This has
been on my wish list for so long now but the expensive price tag has always
puts me off. I’m really not sure it can be worth the money but I have heard
nothing but good things about it which keeps tempting me in!
2)
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit – Another product for glowing skin ,
this palette looks so pretty and although it’s super pricey, I could see myself
using it pretty much every day. I’m yet to try anything from Hourglass but the
foundation and primer have also been on my wish list for some time.
3)
Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil – Why are all the products on my wish
list at the moment so expensive?? This is one that may just remain a wish list
item as the £85 price tag makes my eyes water! I really want to try a product
which contains Retinol though as I have read about some amazing results from
using it and think my skin could really benefit from it.
4)
Boots No.7 Early Defence Day and NightCreams – For me, the
Boots No.7 skincare range is highly underrated and I have had some fab products
from there in the past, such as the Beautiful Skin Eye Makeup Remover. I have
been using the Clarins Early Wrinkle Correction Cream, which I do like, but
sometimes feels a little bit heavy on my skin so I’m looking to try something
new.
5)
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed – I absolutely love the Becca
Shimmering Skin Perfector which I have featured in many a post on here and is
why I think I would love this product too. I’m always drawn to anything that
gives a natural glow to the skin so I think this would be right up my street.
6)
Benefit That Gal Primer – this is actually a primer that I
have tried before and I loved it. However, I found that it ran out really
quickly and at £22.50 a go it isn’t cheap which is why it has remained on my
wish list. I have recently been thinking about treating myself to it again as
it is a very long time since I had it last and my thoughts on it may have
changed. I have come close quite a few times but then I look at my MaxFactor
FaceFinity primer which is just £10.99 and always end up saving my money and
going for the cheaper option.
It’s a shame so many of the products
that I have been lusting over are so expensive and I just can’t bring myself to
part with the money for many of them. If anyone knows of some good dupes for any
of the products I have mentioned then please let me know in the comments below
or on Twitter so I can give them a try! Also if you have a high street wish
list or any product recommendations then please send them my way so I can look
into some more affordable options!
Which products are on your wish list
at the moment? Have you tried any of the ones I have mentioned?
Thanks for reading,
Hannah xx

I know! :) I feel like having a party to celebrate finally getting the Internet, it's been so long! I love the sound of the Sunday Riley oil but I can't believe how much it is! It would have to be something pretty special to warrant that price tag! x
DeleteStill hoping to grab me one of those Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors :) It is just so stunning :P -Maireem

DeleteI love the idea of a Beauty Wish List, I just think it would keep growing throughout the year until it's too long ha! I agree the No.7 range is so underrated, I use quite a few of there products which are now staples in my daily routine.
ReplyDeleteI love the sound of the Benefit That Gal Primer, I think there packaging is what sells there products to me most the time ha! :) x
The Becca highlighter looks gorgeous! If you're looking for something a bit cheaper, No7 make a really nice cream highlighter in crayon form called Instant Radiance - it's so easy to use, and it looks so pretty :) xx
