Hi everyone!
I did have a post lined up for today
but it was work related and I figured the last thing on most people’s minds
over the Easter weekend is work. Those of you that aren’t off I feel your pain
after spending many years in retail! Making sure I had something nice to look
forward to on my next day off was always made me feel better about working over
bank holidays as I know it can be hard work. Anyway I decided to shelve my work
related post for another time when I’m in less of a holiday / relaxing mood!
My Easter weekend has mostly been
spent decorating the hallway in our house (what a very rock and roll life I
lead!) and preparing for an interview I have at work next week. I have used
some annual leave so don’t go back to work until Wednesday and have made my boyfriend
promise that we will have a nice day out, hopefully involving some shopping! I’m
in the mood for a bit of retail therapy and would like some new beauty products
to try (all in the name of research of course) so please leave your
recommendations in the comments!
Anyway the main point of this post was
just to wish all of you that celebrate it a Happy Easter and hope you’re
enjoying your weekend :) I will be back to normal with my
usual posts on Wednesday.
What have you been up to this Easter
weekend? Have you done anything special?
Thanks for reading,
Hannah xx

Hope your interview goes smoothly! And maybe a good perk me up afterwards would be a nice highlighter. Those new UD ones afterglow highlighters look really interesting!:)
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I'm thinking of doing a bit of online shopping this evening as a Friday treat so I'll definitely have a look at those highlighters! x
DeleteHope you had a great Easter!

Thank you, I hope you did too! :) x
DeleteHope you had a great Easter, Hannah and good luck with your interview! About beauty product suggestions, I am currently head of heels in love with NYX Suede Lip Cream liquid lipsticks. They are so pigmented, long wearing and not drying at all. They don't fully dry down but that's what make them so comfortable to wear and easy to remove.

Thank you Shireen, I hope you had a great Easter too! They sound amazing from NYX, I'll be having a look for those online this evening! It's a shame NYX isn't as readily available here as they have some great products! x
DeleteYour Easter weekend of decorating sounds pretty nice, in my opinion (though I should warn you, I'm not very rock and roll either haha)! Hmm, with regard to beauty products, I'm adoring Clarins Instant Concealer at the moment, and I'm super keen to try one of the melted lipsticks by Too Faced - they get such great reviews!

Haha it was nice and we got most of the decorating done so that was good :) ooh I really want to try the Melted Lipsticks too! I've heard to much about them, I'll add them to my list of things to buy this weekend! x
