Hi
everyone,
Today
hadn’t been the best day but I was cheered up when I arrived home from work to
find this month’s She Said Beauty Box had been delivered :) So I thought I would write a quick post on the contents of the October box and
my thoughts on what was included.
Amy
Childs Perfume Sample
I’m
afraid to say I’m not a huge fan of this perfume as it is quite a strong and
musky scent and I usually go for more light and floral fragrances. Maybe it’s
just me but I do also get put off when you have to pour the perfume out of the
bottle onto your skin; I much prefer it when samples have the spray top as I
think it is so much easier to use. That might just be me being fussy though!
B.liv
Off With Those Heads
I
am really interested to try this product and if it works then I will be very
impressed! I tend to get a very oily t-zone so I am hoping that this product will
help keep my skin under control and less shiny during the day. I will let you
guys know if I think ‘Off With Those Heads’ is worth a try!
Biao
Beauty Rejuvenating Night Creme
I
think this might be one that gets passed on to my mum as I am trying to cut
down on the amount of skincare products that I use on my skin at the moment. I
felt like I was doing my skin more harm than good by overloading it with
different lotions and potions so I have now reduced it to the basics and I feel
my skin has been much better for it.
Cellnique
Advanced Bio Renewal Masque
I
was a bit disappointed with the size of this sample and don’t think I’ll get
much of an idea of how good it is from the small amount provided. Having said
that, I am currently looking for a new and effective face scrub so I am happy
to give it a try and it smells delicious too!
Palmers
Cocoa Butter Formula
I
have the Palmers Cocoa Butter lip balm which I absolutely love and have always
wanted to try the body lotion so I was very pleased to see it in this month’s
She Said box. I wasn’t disappointed when I tried this product as my skin was
left feeling lovely and soft and the smell is gorgeous too :)
Myvitamins,
Essential Vitamin D3
This
was a She Said bonus item in this month’s box. I’ve tried taking vitamins a few
times in the past but it usually only lasts a couple of days before I start
forgetting to take them. I like that She Said include bonus treats as I feel
that you are getting that bit more value for money and it’s just a nice little
extra touch :)
Overall
I wasn’t blown away with the October She Said box and thought some of the
samples were a bit on the small side. I am coming to the end of my subscription
with only a couple of months left and can’t decide whether I will renew or not.
If there are any other beauty boxes that you would recommend I would love to
hear your thoughts :)
Hope
you enjoyed reading,
