Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Fuchsia Libre

Hi everyone,

Recently I have been looking for lip products that will keep my lips moisturised but will also add some colour as using just lipsticks has been drying them out. As I was rooting through my makeup drawers I came across the Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Peach on the Beach and remembered how much I loved using it last summer. This is just the type of product I had been wanting so the next time I was in Boots I decided to pick up another shade, Fuchsia Libre.

Fuchsia Libre is a bright pink colour and is really pigmented so it gives a lot more colour than a balm or gloss. It is waterproof and has an SPF 15 which is great for the hotter months and it also claims to moisturise your lips for up to 10 hours! I’m not sure I can agree with this as it doesn’t last on my lips for that amount of time but it is still much more hydrating than a regular lipstick. The texture is also lovely and creamy and glides on really nicely without leaving any sort of sticky finish.

I would definitely recommend these and I’m planning on picking up a couple more shades next time I’m in Boots; the Red Sunshine and Red Island ones look fab and they are only £7.99 so aren’t going to break the bank!
