Hi everyone,
Last week I finally got my hands on
the original Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette which was the only one that I
hadn’t got. It is perhaps a little bit over the top to get all four but I just
liked them so much and they are really handy to carry in your handbag for
touching up your makeup throughout the day or if you’re going out after work.
The original palette contains a deep
rosy pink blush which has a subtle shimmer to it. I think this is such a pretty
colour and has beaten all the other blushers in the Naked Flushed palettes to
be my firm favourite and the one that I have been using the most. You really
only need a small amount as it is fairly pigmented and I made the mistake of
applying way too much the first time I used it and ended up looking like I was
very embarrassed all the time!
The highlighter is a soft, shimmery,
pale pink colour and compliments the blusher really well. I apply the
highlighter to the top of my cheeks bones, my brow bones and apply a tad down
the centre of my nose and it gives such a lovely, natural looking glow to my
skin. Like the blusher, this highlighter is my favourite out of the four :)
Finally the bronzer is described as
medium shade with a satin finish which I just love! It gives such a nice glow
to the skin without a shimmery or glittery finish so it's very natural. It
does have a slight orange tone to it so I have to be careful about how much I
am putting on but applied with a Duo Fibre brush and a light hand it looks just
lovely.
Apparently this is the palette which
Kim Kardashian wore on her wedding day (or so the Sales Assistant told me). I’m
really not sure how true that is but being a sucker for any sort of marketing
ploy it did give that extra little bit of excitement about buying it, awful I
know!
So now I have all of the Urban Decay
palettes I can finally say for definite that this is my favourite. I love all
three of the products in the palette and I think this is the one that I will be
reaching for the most. I have mainly just used the blusher, highlighter and
bronzers individually up until now but they can be swirled together and used as one
for a different look.
Have you tried any of the Naked
Flushed palettes? Which is your favourite? Also if anyone has tried the brush
which goes with the palettes please let me know your thoughts as that could be
next on my list!
Thanks for reading,
Hannah xx
I love the look of this palette until I read at the end that Kim Kardashian used this for her wedding day...ugh, will skip this if it's true. Not a massive fan of the Kardashians. LOL!

@Shireen L. Platt Haha I'm not sure how true it is to be honest but I guess you never know! It really is a fab palette though, I've been using it so much recently :) xx
