Favourite Christmassy Red Lip Products

Hi everyone,

As Christmas is fast approaching I have been loving getting into the festive spirit with my makeup and there's no better way to do that than with a Christmassy red lip. This is a look I have been wearing a lot recently so here are some of my favourite red lip products that I have been using the most.

1) Bourjois Rouge Edition in colour 14 Pretty Prune (£7.99)

 
This is a gorgeous deep red shade that is perfect for winter and gives a more vampy look. As with most red lipsticks you have to apply this with a steady hand so I find using a lip brush really helps get a defined edge.

2) Kate Moss for Rimmel colour 110 Vibrant Coral (£5.49)

 
The Kate Moss range is so popular and this shade is one of my favourites from her collection. It's a lovely bright red with an orange undertone and has a matte finish. This does mean that it can be quite drying and in winter my lips get so dry anyway but I use the Lush Lip Scrub before applying this one when my lips are particularly chapped.


3) Tanya Burr lipgloss in Heart Skipped a Beat (£6.99)

 
Tanya Burr has released a limited edition Christmas lipgloss called Mistletoe Kisses which looks gorgeous but I think this one is really Christmassy too. It has fab staying power and I love the glitter in it for an extra Christmas sparkle.

4) NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp (£5.50)

 
This is one lip product that I have been using forever and is a bright coral red shade with a matte finish. The only thing I don’t like about this product is the smell which to me is a bit like Play-Doh but once it’s on the lips you can’t smell it.

5) Maxfactor Lipstick in Cherry Kiss (Free!)

This was a freebee that I got a couple of weeks ago for spending over £15 on Maxfactor! I love the shade which is a true cherry red colour and very Christmassy. I don’t think it is available on its own as I can’t find it online anywhere which is a shame as it is such a nice lipstick. If anyone knows where you can still get it please leave a comment to let me know :)
