What I Got For Christmas

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I had a lovely time catching up with family and friends and relaxing for a few days. I'm just sad it went by so quickly!

I have seen some controversy over 'What I Got For Christmas' posts recently but for me they are posts that I always enjoy and look forward to reading. I don't feel that it's about showing off but more about sharing the gifts that you received which people have taken the time to think about and buy for you. If this isn't your thing then I will be back with my usual beauty posts next week but I hope some of you guys enjoy this post too.

This year from my mum I received the Chloe perfume. I have had my eye on this for so long and just think it smells so lovely, plus the bottle is super cute! I also got these cosy pjs with Thumper from Bambie on them and some matching bunny slippers from my boyfriend which I think are from Topshop. I thought I might be too hot in the pjs as they are so soft and warm but I've been fine with them and love putting them on and getting all cosy in the evening. It's just not Christmas without getting some new pjs to snuggle up in!

I really must look at M&S beauty more as my mum found some lovely gifts for me from there including these hand creams which are so good and just sink into the skin. This pretty pink makeup bag and lip gloss are also from M&S as well as this set of nail polishes which I love.

My boyfriend loves that we have rabbits now so that he can buy me all sorts of bunny related gifts! I got this cute photo frame with a picture of my two, Billy and Bluebell, in it and this silver ring holder. I also received some Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay perfume as I was running out and it is one of my all time favourite scents. I never repurchase perfumes as I usually like to try something new but I think I will always have this one somewhere in my collection.

I have a spa day to look forward to in a few weeks which I am going on with my boyfriends sister. I can't believe I have never been to a spa day before and have been pestering Tom to come with me for so long but it's not really his thing. This way I still get to go and have a fab, relaxing day but he gets out of coming with me!

Finally, I got this gorgeous vase which is from Etsy Marketplace. It's second hand but looks brand new and is in perfect condition. We are currently decorating our bedroom and this will look lovely in there once it is all done :)

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have written something similar please leave your links in the comments below as I would love to have a nosy. Also let me know what you received for Christmas this year and which was your favourite gift that you gave to family or a friend :)

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. Those are some great prices you got for Christmas. This year we focused more on the kids and all I really wanted was a new cell phone which I got so I'm content of course :-)
Those little bunny slippers are super cute though. Love them :-) xo

I had no idea you had bunnies, which makes your bunny gifts that much more cute! I'll have to check out that Cholé perfume, too, I've heard so many great things about it, but have yet to smell it myself. Thanks for sharing, girlie, and I hope you're having the most amazing start to your week so far!

  16. I think it's adorable that you received rabbit themed gifts because of your pets! That's so cute! I really love that ring holder. It reminds me of how I bought my friend a ring holder in the shape of a cat for Christmas because she has a cat.
