February Favourites

Hi everyone,

The end of February is here and I hope everyone has had a great month. If I'm honest, for me it has been quite a busy one and I can't say I'll be sorry to move on to a new month that will hopefully be a more enjoyable and quieter one! I am going to aim for March to be about relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends :)

Today I am here with a few of the products I have enjoyed using throughout February. Some are new things that I have come across but I have been trying to spend less this month so some are rediscoveries that I have dug out when other products have come to an end.

Firstly I think my favourite rediscovery is the Victoria's Secret Body Spray in Vanilla Lace. Every time I use this fragrance my boyfriend always comments on how nice it smells and says it makes him hungry as he thinks it's like white chocolate. It is actually a very sweet vanilla scent and I love it for when I have had a nice bubble bath to spritz when I get out as I find it quite calming. If you are not a fan of sweet fragrances then you might not like this one but having said that I'm not overly keen on anything too sweet and I still think it's lovely.

Secondly I have also been really enjoying these Soap & Glory products that my brother gave me for my birthday. Righteous Butter is one that I have used quite a lot but I had never tried Flake Away or the Sugar Crush body butter so it was good to get these taster sized ones to try them out. As always with Soap & Glory products the scent is amazing and they leave my skin feel so so soft, I just love them.

If you saw my birthday makeup look post (here) you will have seen that I used the Tanya Burr Enchanted Dream palette which contains some really pretty eyeshadows. The quality of the Tanya Burr eyeshadows isn't amazing but for just £6 I think they are really good, especially if you are just starting out with eye makeup and are looking to experiment.

As part of my cut back skincare routine (you can read more about it here if you missed it) I had been using the Sephora Triple Action Cleansing Water but when this ran out I needed to find an alternative that was easier to get hold of. That's where the Garnier Micellar Water steps in and has been fab for removing my eye makeup especially. I have found it to be gentle on my skin but still do a good job at leaving it feeling clean and fresh.

This cute rabbit ring was a present that I got from my boyfriend for my birthday a few weeks ago. I have two pet bunnies that I love and on the inside he has had it inscribed with 'you are my sunshine'. I just thought this was such a sweet and thoughtful gift and it's something I can always keep :)

Last but not least I wanted to give a mention to the Do The Hoola gift set which I wrote about in last week's post. I have only mainly started using this over the last week or so but my first impressions have been great which is no surprise really as I already loved Hoola. If you haven't tried any of these products then this set is a great way to try them out before splashing out on the full sized versions.

I hope you have all had a wonderful February. I am hopefully going to have a quieter March and I am looking forward to a bit more relaxing!

Which products have you enjoyed using in February? Have you tried any of the ones I have mentioned here?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  5. I am also liking to spend more consciously these days and I loved your products! I like Garnier micellar water, the Victoria's Secrets Vanilla Lace I bought for a friend (because she wanted that, so, better to give what I know she wanted than a random present :) I like Soap & Glory products and never heard of Tanya Burr cosmetics, the palette looks very good! And how cute that you have two bunnies, this ting is sooo sweet, what for a great present, so sweet that your boyfriend gave it to you! I loved the products you showed, hope you have a very sweet week!

  7. I know, February was a busy one for me too and I'm so ready for March and the start of spring, I can't believe March begins this week though, crazy! Anyway, all these products sound wonderful. I haven' used VS fragrances in so long, but when your babe loves it, you know it's a win, right!? Haha! I'll have to remember to check it out the next time I'm in store. I've never tried Soap & Glory products before, but have heard of them, I love the sound of their products, especially how moisturizing they seem to be. I love the ring you boyfriend gifted you with, such a personal and sweet gift! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having the best start to your week so far!

    1. I know, I really don't know where this year is going, it seems like Christmas was just last week! I have been using the Victoria's Secret spray so much since my boyfriend commented on it, he never mentions anything about my perfumes so you know it must be nice when he does! I would really recommend the Soap & Glory products too, I have yet to try anything from them that I haven't liked! Hope you're having a great week Jalisa :) x

  8. The Garnier micellar water has been repurchased a couple of times by me already! I really like it but recently have been itching to go back to Bioderma, for some reason I'm starting to miss it.

  11. I've been using the Garnier micellar water and I have the feeling I am the only person in this world who doesn't like it. It just doesn't work for my skin, and I feel it kind of soapy. Otherwise, the other products sound promising. Victoria Secret's body sprays are the best! Hope that March will be a relaxing one for you!

    1. Aw well I guess we are all different and what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another but it's a shame you didn't have a good experience with the micellar water. I do really like the Victoria's Secret body sprays and to be honest I didn't think I would so it was a nice surprise :) x

  18. Hannah pleeeease post a photo of your pet bunnies as I want to see them. Pet bunnies are actually illegal here in Queensland, AU, as we have no wild rabbits and don't want to introduce them accidentally into the ecosystem. I had a bunny when I was a child in the UK and I loved her so much! The ring is too adorable!

And yes, you really can't beat the VS body mists, they are so much cheaper than perfume perfume too

I can't believe bunnies are illegal in Queensland! I suppose it makes sense if they don't want to introduce them into the ecosystem but that's something I never knew. x
