NOTD Barry M Gelly Dragon Fruit and Silver Glitter

Hi guys!

I just thought I’d do a quick post to show you this nail varnish I picked up in Boots recently. It is from the Gelly range by Barry M and is the shade Dragon Fruit which a really nice, pale, girly pink colour.

I chose this polish as it was 3 for 2 in Boots at the time and I needed to get a third item. My mum picked this shade up but I wasn’t sure at first as I have so many pink nail varnishes already. I’m really glad I went with it in the end though as I love the colour and have worn it so much recently. As I have quite fair skin I tend to steer clear of any polishes that are pale as they just sort of blend in. However, this is just a perfect shade for me as the colour isn’t too light and is really pink.

I have tried nail varnishes from the Barry M Gelly collection before and I have to say I don’t think the finish is any shinier than any of the other polishes that I have, which I found quite disappointing. Having said that, they have some really nice shades in the range and the formula is easy to work with so I would still recommend them.

I can’t seem to just paint my nails these days and always want to add something different so this time I decided to add a sparkly accent finger using Barry M Silver Glitter polish. I love all the Barry M glitter nail varnishes and have collected quite a few now so I think I might do a glitter varnish collection post soon!

Which are your favourite Barry M nail varnishes? Have any of you tried the Dragon Fruit shade?

Thanks for reading :) xx

  1. This is almost identical to a opi polish i just bought from fragrance direct it's called elephantastic. I love the look i could create it myself using the polishes i have however i don't own a silver glitter so it would be slightly different.

I love this. Thanks for sharing.

  2. @Kate Musgrove I always forget to look on Fragrance Direct but you can get some fab bargains on there :) You could always use a different colour for the accent finger if you don't have a silver glitter. I would definitely recommend the Barry M glitter polishes though, they are so sparkly! :) Thank you for commenting xx

  6. @Hannah S They have some lovely shades in the Gelly range and I would definitely recommend them :) The only downside is that they aren't as shiny as I had hoped but it wouldn't put me off buying them again. x
