Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick in Grenade In

I thought I‘d just do a quick post to show you guys this fab new lipstick from Bourjois. I was in Superdrug the other day looking for something completely different but this lipstick caught my eye and I just couldn’t resist.

 

The Shine Edition lipsticks contain a quarter lip gloss extract to give them that extra shine and make the formula really silky and smooth. There are six shades to choose from and after a lot of umming and ahhing I went for colour number 23 Grenade In which is a lovely pink berry sort of shade. I have really been drawn to berry colours recently and think they are fab for this time of year. I love the colour and the pay off is decent considering the formula which reminds me a bit of the Revlon Lip Butters. Also how cute is the packaging? I love the shiny mirror like case and the bright, colourful writing :)

The only downside I found is that Bourjois claim that you will get 10 hours plus moiturisation from this lipstick but I definitely think that’s a bit of an over exaggeration. I actually found it slightly drying after a while but I do have dry lips anyway so it could just be down to that.

Overall I would definitely recommend these lipsticks even though I think the £7.99 price tag is a little on the steep side for what you’re getting.
