British Blogger Selection Week 2 - About You Questions and Answers

Hi everyone!

As you may have seen in my last post I have joined up to be part of the British Blogger Selection and today is the first one I have taken part in. The theme this week is a question and interview style theme. The questions were set by Ellie from Little Vintage Camera and I hope you enjoy reading my answers to the questions she set :)

1)    Why do you like blogging?

I like blogging because it gives me the chance to write about my love of all things beauty and makeup related and I see it as a bit of an escape from everyday life. I also really enjoy talking to new people that have the same interests as me, for example during the BBloggers chat and discovering different products and brands that I would never have know about otherwise.

2)    How did you come up with your blog name?

I thought about my blog name for weeks and weeks and came up with all sorts of different ideas. I wanted it to be related to beauty so that readers knew straight away what sort of blog it was and one day Beauty Box just popped into my head. At the time I had never heard of beauty boxes in the sense of Glossybox and Birchbox so I didn’t pick it for that reason, I just thought it was a good name.

3)    Where in the UK do you come from?

I come from Preston in Lancashire so any bloggers up this way give me a shout!

4)    Favourite colour?

Definitely pink, I am a true girly girl!

5)    Do you like Lana Del Ray?

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Lana Del Ray to be honest. I don’t dislike her, I just haven’t listened to that much of her music.

6)    Hidden talents that you have?

I don’t think I have any hidden talents as such, I play the flute and piano but I guess they’re not really hidden.

7)    Celebrity crush?

I have developed a bit of a crush on Justin Timberlake recently! My friend and I used to be obsessed with him when we were younger and since he has come back with a new album I have rekindled my love for him!

8)    Favourite blog of all time?

This is a difficult one as there are so many blogs that I love but I think I’m going to have to say BeautyCrush and Kandee Johnson just because they are the blogs that I first discovered and the ones that inspired me to start blogging myself.

9)    What made you want to join #BritishBloggerSelection?

I love the sense of community that comes with blogging and thought the idea of joining a group like this was lovely. I also thought it was be a fantastic opportunity to discover some new blogs and branch other from reading mainly beauty and fashion blogs too.
