February Favourites

It's that time again for a monthly favourites post!

This month I have discovered quite a few new products that I have really enjoyed using and also a couple of new fab brands that I have not tried before.

Firstly I have been loving Tanya Burr’s new lipgloss in Aurora. This is a gorgeous pink colour with a subtle shimmer running through it and I have been wearing it non-stop since I got it. It is super moisturising and has a lovely creamy texture. I was also surprised by the staying power of this gloss and it sort of leaves a stain on the lips which lasts ages before you need to reapply. I have just ordered Picnic in the Park so I can't wait to try it out.

  

One of the brands that I discovered this month is NYX. Although I had tried the Matte Lip Creams, I hadn't ventured any further with NYX products until a stand popped up in my local Next which was a surprise as I didn't think Next really sold makeup. Anyway I picked up this blusher in Rose Garden last time I was there and I have really enjoyed using it. It is a lovely, girly pink shade with a hint of shimmer in and it has quickly become one of my favourite blushers.

 

I also bought this coral lipgloss from NYX, although I can't see a name on it anywhere. It smells and tastes delicious and the colour is so pretty and perfect for spring and summer.

I had the Lush lip scrub in Popcorn but I dropped it on my bathroom floor and it smashed the lid. Without the lid it went a bit funny so I decided it was time to get a new one and got the bubblegum flavour for a change. I tend to suffer from dry lips so I love this product for keeping them super soft and smooth.

 

My favourite perfume this month has been Marc Jacobs Honey. I'm rubbish at describing fragrances so I'll just tell you that it contains top notes of pear and orange, heart notes of orange blossom, peach and honeysuckle and finishes with base notes of honey and vanilla.

 

So those are my favourite products that I have been loving throughout February. I have really got into using lip glosses more recently and taking better care of my lips so that lipsticks and glosses look so much better as well.
