Hi everyone,
As my love of YSL lipgloss and
lipsticks grows my bank balance decreases but hey you only live once! This time
I decided to go for the Gloss Volupte in colour number 19 Rose Orfevre which is
a lovely shimmery pale pink shade.
I love this colour as it isn’t so pale
that you can’t see it but it’s not too in your face and gives a lovely pink
sheen to the lips. The shimmer isn’t too over the top and doesn’t feel like
huge chunks of glitter have been left on your lips after the gloss has worn away
which is a massive pet hate of mine. I love the formula which isn’t sticky and
applies smoothly over the lips and the staying power is fab as well.
As always with YSL the packaging is
gorgeous and using this product just feels so luxurious and glamourous. If I am
having a bad day and want a little pick me up this gloss somehow always makes
me feel a little better and that bit more special. I really like the heart
shaped applicator which was designed to make sure the gloss was applied evenly
or you can use the pointed end to get a more precise finish.

I love the YSL lipstick but don't own the lip gloss because I honestly am not a fan of glosses. I know what you mean by bank balance shrinking though, I am the same. LOL!

@Shireen L. Platt I used to be a lipstick girl but recently I have been buying so many glosses! I think I've been using them more because I get dry lips in winter and the glosses seem to help them stay more hydrated :) x
