My Burberry Perfume Review

Hi everyone,

Just before Christmas I decided to treat myself to the new My Burberry perfume and it has quickly become a firm favourite of mine. I liked it as soon as I smelt it and it was one of those things that you just can’t stop thinking about until you buy it!

My Burberry was created as a signature scent for the brand and is inspired by the classic Burberry trench coat. I am truly rubbish at describing perfumes so it’s probably best for me just to tell you which notes were used to help you get the best idea of what it is like. The top notes consist of sweet pea and bergamot followed by a geranium, golden quince and freesia heart and base notes of patchouli and damask and centifolia roses. To me the overall scent is a strong floral one but it’s not a light, girly fragrance which I would usually associate with floral perfumes.

The bottle was also designed with the Burberry trench in mind with the button top representing the buttons of the coat and the bow inspired by the fabric which was invented by Thomas Burberry. I love that so much thought has gone into not only the scent but the bottle as well as it makes it feel just that bit extra special and luxurious.

This perfume is one I can see myself buying again once it has run out and that it unusual for me and perfumes as I usually like to keep trying different ones. I only bought the 30ml as I felt a tad bit guilty about buying myself presents right before Christmas but I am now wishing I had bought a bigger bottle!

Have you tried My Burberry? What did you think?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah x

  1. That is such a cute bottle! I love Burberry perfumes, they are always classy and sophisticated. I need to try this scent, probably the closest I will ever get to owning a Burberry trench coat. LOL!

    Have a great weekend! xx
