NOTD Essie Warm and Toasty Turtleneck

Hi everyone,

I haven’t done a NOTD post in a while so I thought I would do one today and give you a sneak peek into Sunday’s post which will be the second part of my New York haul.

Essie and OPI polishes were so cheap in New York and so of course I had to stock up on a few! The first one I have tried out is Essie Warm and Toasty Turtleneck from the 2013 winter collection. I was immediately drawn to this polish as it is a lovely mauve, dark lilac shade which is a colour that I have wanted to add to my collection for a while now. Although it is from the winter range I think it’s a shade that can be worn all year round as it isn’t too dark or gloomy looking for the summer and is just a really nice colour generally.

As always with Essie polishes, I love the formula and it has lasted so well on my nails. I have acrylics at the moment so nail varnish does tend to last longer but even so it has been a good week and a half since I put it on and only now is it looking a little worse for wear!

Keep an eye out for Sunday’s post to see which other Essie and OPI polishes I bought as well as the rest of my drugstore haul!

Hope you are all having a lovely week! Leave a comment below and let me know which are your favourite Essie nail polishes and what your thoughts are of Warm and Toasty Turtleneck!

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. I've always preferred OPI polishes but Essie is definitely starting to dominate my collection as well. This is a gorgeous shade, haven't seen it here though. Definitely one I have to look out for.

  4. @Shireen L. Platt I really like OPI too but I seem to be drawn more towards the colours that Essie do at the moment. I just wish they were both so cheap here in the UK! x
