Nail Polish Collection Series - Gold and Silver Glitters

Hi everyone,

Today I am back with the next in my series of my nail polish collection posts and I'm moving on to glitters. Glitter nail polishes are some of my favourites (especially now I have discovered the Sephora Glitter Nail Polish Remover!) so I am splitting this section up according to colour, starting with the silvers and golds.

Left: Tanya Burr in Glitters and Gold, Right: Tanya Burr in Glitter Rain
Left: Barry M in Gold Glitter, Right: Barry M in Diamond Glitter
Left: Avon Gold Flecked, Right: Avon Silver Plated
Left: Rimmel Queen of Bling, Right: Revlon Stunning
Left: Ciate Celestial, Right: Essie Sparkle on Top

For nail polish toppers I think my favourites are the two Tanya Burr polishes which I got in her advent calendar last year and are just so pretty. If I am after a full glitter look though, then the Barry M shade in Gold Glitter provides more coverage and just seems to last forever on the nails.

Do you like glitter nail polishes? Which are your favourites?

Thanks for reading,
Hannah xx

  8. I love glitter polishes! I have some of the Nails Inc ones, which are a finer glitter. Rimmel also did the space dust range that was really popular, and I have about 4-5 of those too xx

  9. YES to glittering silver/gold shades and manicure embellishments! It's nice to see Ciate featured here as I looooove their glitter polishes, though Rimmel's Queen of Bling has now caught my eye too - gorgeous!

    1. I will have to look out for more of the Ciate ones as I have really been impressed with Celestial. I think the Rimmel Queen of Bling polish was one I found in Poundland so it's worth checking there for a bargain :) x

  12. I adore glitters when it comes to my nails, but it can be a bit to take off sometimes. But, I have tried Sephora's in the past. I'm glad that you're sharing more of your collection, which seems epic in my opinion. Now, I'm off to buy more nail varnish. xx/M

  13. I love glitter polishes I don't own as much these days though. I think my favorites are O.P.I's Last Friday Night from the Katy Perry Collection, O.P.I Absolutely Alice, and Five and Ten from the O.P.I Breakfast at Tiffany's collection. A mix of blues, with gold!

    1. Oooh the Breakfast at Tiffany's collection sounds lovely, I will have to check that out :) OPI do some really good polishes and I used to love the shade Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection but sadly mine dried up and I had to throw it out. x

    1. I would really recommend the Sephora glitter nail polish remover as it works so much better than regular nail polish remover. It still isn't quite as easy to get off as normal nail polish as the glitter can rip the cotton wool more easily but I wouldn't be without it now. x

  17. You always have the best nail polishes! I love that Berry M- it looks perfect for full coverage. The Ciate Celestial will be so pretty over a blue or aqua polish.

  21. I am so biased to talk about it, since I love nail polishes and glitter - my favorite ones! I know I am always showing ail art, but actually just a coat of glitter is my favorite way! Sorry I have been absent, but I have been so horribly busy at uni! Hope you have a great weekend!
