August Favourites :)

Helllooo,
So August has been and gone so quickly and it’s already time for another monthly favourites post! This month I have tried quite a few new products and I have been experimenting with a couple of different looks so I thought I’d share a few of the items that I having been using the most with you guys.
Body Shop Vanilla Eau De Toilette (usually £9 but on sale for £4.50)
I was in the Body Shop recently and picked up this perfume which was on sale for a bargain £4.50. I really love the smell which is a simple, sweet vanilla fragrance and the fairly small bottle means it’s handy to throw in your bag for touch ups during the day. Unfortunately I have heard that the vanilla collection is being discontinued and replaced with a vanilla and musk fragrance so I will be stocking up on this one while I can!
Revlon Pro You Texture Scrunch Curl Enhancer (£11.95)
My hair is naturally curly and when the weather is hot and humid it’s a nightmare to keep straight. When I went on holiday I wanted a product that would help stop my hair from frizzing and make the curls more defined. This product was so easy to use as you simply scrunch it into wet hair and leave it to dry naturally. It was fantastic on holiday and I have continued using it while the weather here has been so sticky and hot.
Benefit Watts Up (£24.50)

This has quickly become one of my favourite highlighters as I love the golden bronze glow it gives to my cheek bones and it’s really easy to apply. It is a bit on the pricey side but the one I have is a sample size and has lasted me ages so I don’t think you would need to buy the full sized one too often. I think I now prefer the Watts Up highlighter to Benefit’s Highbeam and will definitely be purchasing the full sized product once this one has run out.
Barry M Glitter Dust in No.15 Gold Iridescent (£4.59)
These glitter dusts from Barry M are great for a night out and I especially love the Gold Iridescent one for applying to the corner of the eye to make it really pop. I have just noticed that the little pot says ‘not for around the eyes’ on the bottom which I didn’t know before now. I have used it quite a few times and it has been fine but if your eyes are sensitive it might be best not to use it on that area. The only downside to the glitter pots is that they can be quite difficult to apply but I think that the finished look is worth the effort.
Nars Blusher, Orgasm (£21)

The first blusher I bought from Nars was the ‘Lustre’ shade and I wore it and wore and it has now almost run out so I decided to treat myself to a new one. ‘Orgasm’ is a gorgeous rosy pink colour with a hint of gold shimmer running through it. It glides onto the skin so easily and doesn’t budge all day. Nars blushers are my favourite ever blushers and I definitely think they are well worth the money.
Benefit Lipgloss, Life on the A List (£14)
I rarely get through lip glosses but this is the second tube of ‘Life on the A List’ that I have purchased as I use it almost every day. I was drawn to the pale pinky peach colour of this lip gloss and think it looks great on its own but is also good for adding over a lot of the lipsticks I own to give that extra shine.
So that’s it for my August faves J I’d love to hear if anyone out there has tried any of the products I’ve mentioned and what you thought of them, or if you have any products you have been loving this month :)

Thanks for reading,
BBx
