St Moriz Self Tanning Mousse

Hellloooo,

As someone with fairly pale skin, I’ve tried various fake tans over the years in an attempt to give my skin a healthy glow. However, more often than not I have been left with a streaky, orange mess rather than the bronzed goddess look that I was after! I also struggled to find a tan that didn’t cost a fortune as I go through it at a fairly quick rate and couldn’t afford to keep using more expensive brands such as Fake Bake and St Tropez.

I first tried St Moriz a couple of years ago whilst I was at uni but was put off when I used the spray and got it all over the bathroom wall and floor and had to spend ages scrubbing it off :( However, I decided to give it another try when the mousse version came out and I have to say I’m really glad I did.

At around £2.99 a bottle, St Moriz is the cheapest fake tan I have tried and it is also one of the best.  I use a tanning mit to apply the tan so that I avoid the dreaded orange hands nightmare and find that the tan goes on more evenly when using a mit as well. I love the flawless, natural and non-streaky complexion I am left with after using this product and the colour of the tan is not in the slightest bit orange. The tan fades naturally rather than going patchy and you can also make it last longer by moisturising regularly.

The only negatives I can think of are that there is a slight ‘biscuit’ tan smell when you apply the product but this disappears after a shower. I have also found that quite a bit of colour does wash off in the shower so if I am wanting a deeper tan I apply two coats or use the dark option.
Overall I would highly recommend the St Moriz Self Tanning Mousse. I know it’s been around for a while now but I wanted to blog about my experience with this product as I was a bit sceptical at first with it being so cheap.  I also wasn’t that keen on the spray version but after one application of the mousse I was hooked and definitely think it’s worth trying if you haven’t already.

Have any of you guys used the St Moriz tan? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this product or if you’ve found any other great, purse friendly fake tans:)

Thanks for reading,
BBx
