Dior Addict Lip Glow Review

For Christmas this year I was lucky enough to get the Dior Addict Lip Glow from my boyfriend. I have no idea how he thought to get it me as it isn’t something I have mentioned wanting but I’m very impressed that he knew I would like it.

If you’ve not heard of this product before it is a lip balm that reacts with each person’s lips to provide a unique colour for them. I have absolutely no idea how it works but it applies clear and gradually turns the right shade of pink for you. The effect is subtle in a ‘your lips but better’ kind of way but not so much so that you might as well not bother. The finish isn’t glossy but it has a smooth and creamy texture which I love as it isn’t I the slightest bit sticky.

If I had super dry lips then I would probably need something a bit more heavy duty than this lip balm, like Estee Lauder Eight Hour Cream which I love for when my lips are really chapped. However, this balm provides the perfect amount of hydration to keep your lips feeling soft and moisturised throughout the day and stop them from getting too dry in the first place.

Of course being Dior and a luxury product it is on the pricey side at £23.50 but I think it is worth every penny. The plus side of it being high end is that it comes in gorgeous packaging and feels so glamourous and luxurious to use.

Overall this lip balm is a massive hit for me and I can see myself buying it again and again!
