Hi everyone!
So believe it or not up until last
week I had never tried any Lush bath products! I know I am extremely late to
the party with this one but I just wasn’t really a bath person and I tend to
have more showers over baths. I have been meaning to try them for ages though
as I know how much everyone raves about them and they do look so good whenever
I see them on people’s blogs or vlogs. I think my boyfriend picked up on this
and so for Christmas he bought me two bath bombs, the Luxury Lush Pud and the
Sex Bomb (he didn’t realise it was called this and thought it was hilarious
when I told him that’s the one he had bought me!).
I tried the Luxury Lush Pud one first
as it was a Christmassy product and I loved the look of all the polka dot
colours that it was made up of. The scent is apparently lavender and the same
as the Twilight bath bomb but I thought it had a more cinnamon, Christmas smell
to it. Not sure if this was just me getting caught up with all things Christmas
related but nevertheless I thought it smelt divine. The bath bomb fizzed for
quite a while after I had chucked it in the water which I thought was really
good, it certainly lasted a lot longer than I was expecting! The colours all
fizzed together to settle on a pretty, bright pink shade which I was quite
worried would stain the bath but it washed away so easily.
After the success of the Luxury Lush
Pud I couldn’t wait to try the Sex Bomb one. This bath bomb is a lovely pink
and lilac colour with a little pink rose on the top. The scent is made of jasmine
(known as aphrodisiac), ylang ylang (to sooth worries) and clary sage (to help
clear the mind) and is just so relaxing and soothing. Again the colours swirl
together to create a gorgeous pink bath and the petals of the rose float around
on the water.
I absolutely loved the Lush bath bombs
that I tried and I am a complete convert. Yesterday I went to Lush and bought
three more bath bombs and a bubble bar to try so look out for a post featuring
these products soon!
Which are your favourite Lush
products? I’d love to hear your recommendations of what I should try next!
Thanks for reading,
Hannah x
I havent tried a bath bomb either :/ it just seems so expensive for a 1 use product. but i received two for xmas which I am yet to use so hopefully i will be swayed :)
ReplyDelete@Lou Blogs I agree, they do seem really expensive for what they but after trying them I definitely think they are worth it :) x
ReplyDeleteI've tried the Butter Ball, Butter Bear and Sex Bomb but frank, I failed to see what's the fuss about. I guess it's also due to the fact I am new to the idea of having a bath. Back in Malaysia, there's only shower so maybe I need to slowly get used to it.

@Shireen L. Platt I tried the Butter Ball a couple of days ago but I didn't like that one as much as the others. I used to only really have showers too and thought baths just take up too much time but I find them really relaxing now :) xx
ReplyDeleteLush is amazing isn't it , I love their products. I got a big gift set but I don't want to use them up they look so pretty hehe. xox
