Soap & Glory Glow All Out Luminizing Face Powder

Hi everyone,

My current beauty obsession is with glowing skin and recently I have taken to buying a ton of products to help me achieve this. I seem to go through phases quite a lot with my makeup routine; not long ago I was buying lip products left, right and centre but more recently I haven’t been wearing a lot of lipstick or lipgloss as my lips have been too dry. On to the next phase I go and one of my latest purchases to help get the glow was the Soap & Glory Glow All Out powder.

Hopefully you can see he slight glow in the photos but it was really difficult to capture
Glow All Out is described as a luminizing face powder which has a subtle pink tint to it. I have mostly been using it all over my face in replace of my normal Rimmel Lasting Finish powder to get a really nice glow. A word of warning though, you do need to make sure you’re applying it with a light hand! I find my Sigma Duo Fibre brush helps to make sure you don’t look too OTT with the glow or look at bit too pink! It doesn’t contain any glitter or shimmery bits of any kind which means that it isn't effective enough for me to use as a highlighter but it also isn’t pink enough to use as a blusher. It does however, look lovely over a pink blusher if you’re not too sure about going in and applying it all over to begin with.

I hadn’t really thought about using a product like this before but have found it’s just what I need to stop my skin looking dull and lifeless. I think I would like it more if it was a little less pink and more of a natural skin colour but as I say, applying it with a light hand does help. I’m not sure I would buy this exact powder again but I’m definitely sold on the idea of a luminizing powder over the matte ones that I’m used to getting.

Have you tried anything like this product before? What are your thoughts on luminzing face powders?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  3. I've never tried a luminising product before so I thought it was like a highlighter. The shade is lovely and I'm sure it looks lovely applied with a light hand. The weather is drying out my lips terribly too! :)

  7. @Velvet Blush I've never really thought to try anything like this before either but stumbled across it on my search for products that would help give my dull skin a bit of life! I'm so glad I did as well as I have really been enjoying using it :) My lips and just my skin in general have been driving me mad recently, it's just so dry and horrible :( Roll on the summer! x

  8. @Gabrielle I would really recommend it and also the Beccca Shimmering Skin Perfector pressed powder which I will have a review on very soon :) Both are great for living up a dull complexion. x
