April 2017 Favourites

Hi everyone,

This month I don't have tons of new favourites as I have been trying to use up products that I already have before buying new ones. That being said, the new additions to my beauty collections that I have made have certainly not disappointed.

Firstly throughout April I have really enjoyed treating myself to some nice shower products. I have never really thought it was worth spending too much on expensive shower gels and body scrubs before as there are so many cheaper ones out there that do the job. However, I had a realisation after I received some really nice products for Christmas and I haven't looked back since. The Early Harvest Raspberry shower gel and body scrub from The Body Shop have been my favourites this month as they smell absolutely amazing, they honestly make your mouth water!

As the warmer weather is on its way (although you wouldn't know it from this weekend!) I have been cracking out the fake tan a bit more. The St Moritz ones have always been favourites of mine as they are so cheap (£4.99 at Bodycare) but they colour they give is so natural.

This perfume is one that I have been wearing almost every day at the moment and at £9.99 for 100ml it is a real bargain. If you missed my full review of this scent, you can find it here :)

I have been using the Garnier Micellar Water for a while now but it's only this month that I have tried the version for combination and sensitive skin. If I am honest, I can't say I really noticed any difference between this one and the original but I have still enjoyed using it as both remove my makeup with ease and don't cause any irritation.

Last but not least I wanted to give a mention to these Jo Malone dupe candles from Aldi. They were available in the scents Pomegranate Noir, Pear and Freesia and Lime, Basil and Manderine. At just £4.99 each they are a steal compare to the pricey Jo Malone options but they smell amazing and Pear and Freesia in particular is just like the English Pear and Freesia Jo Malone scent. They do burn quite quickly and I'm sure the fragrance doesn't fill the room the same as the Jo Malone candles but for the price you really can't go wrong.

I hope you have all had a wonderful April and have lots to look forward to in May. I am off to LA and San Francisco next month so I can't wait for that :)

Which products have you enjoyed using during April? Have you tried any of my favourites?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  10. How good is St Moritz? I used to use it all the time when I lived in the UK and it's so similar to St Tropez, but at a fraction of the price. You can't beat the Body Shop when it comes to shower products and I'd love to try this raspberry range.

  11. Bodyshop never disappoints you! I always end up going for the Argan, Moringa or Shea butter items. But I tried the raspberry before, it was so good and so sweet, I consider buying it again after reading about it here! :D

  12. What a nice lineup of products! That shower and gel set sounds amazing, I love the look of the gel especially! I've never heard of St. Moriz, would you count it as a super for the St. Tropez? I've never used a tanning product before, but I've been considering it, since I can use a little bronze glow, haha. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great week so far!

    1. I'd say St Moriz is a good dupe for St Tropez but it's way cheaper! The finish is really natural and it doesn't end up streaky. It is definitely worth giving it a try :) Hope you're having a lovely week too. x

I've heard so many good things about the Garnier micellar water but I still haven't tried because I don't know if it's worth the money. I keep meaning to though.
