A few weeks ago I wrote a review of the Chloe perfume (here) which is a great one for those times when you want something classy and sophisticated but still girly. Today I am here with a perfume that is a little more fun and fruity but still a fab one to have in your collection.
Princess by Vera Wang is a fruity floral scent which has top notes of waterlily, apple, mandarin and apricot followed by guava, tiare flower, tuberose, dark chocolate and pink frosting accord at the heart. The base notes contain vanilla which is one of my favourite fragrances so this was always going to be a perfume that I was drawn to. For me, this one is a little sweeter than a lot of the perfumes that I usually go for but I still love it as I don't find it to be too sickly. There's nothing worse than smelling like sweet shop has thrown up on you but I think the fruity notes in this perfume balance it out and stop it being too over the top.
The bottle is so cute and I love the tiara top with the purple diamontés. It is definitely very girly so it may not be everyone's cup of tea but as a girl that loves anything pink, sparkly or princess related it is right up my street! This is actually the second bottle of this perfume that I have owned so you can see how much I must like it :) It is also so affordable and I have found it at £22.50 online for 100ml.

DeleteThe bottle is gorgeous! I know this perfume is a favourite for many, though shamefully I am yet to try it myself. I always tend to stick to the same ones. My favourites are: J'adore - Dior, The One - Dolce & Gabbana and Envy Me - Gucci.

I should really stick to one of two as well but I can never resist when it comes to perfumes. I haven't tried any of the ones which you have mentioned so I will have to look out for them :) x

DeleteI have Lovestruck, by Vera Wang, and I simply loved it, so I am pretty sure that this Princess is very good! The tiara/crown is so sweet and I think that Vera Wang's perfumes are so feminine! Hope you have a very lovely week!

DeleteI remember falling in love with this scent when I spotted it on my mom's vanity years ago! I was of course captured by the adorable packaging and it does smell delicious from what I remember. Aw I love it when fragrances bring back memories like this and can take you back to a moment in an instant. I really like the scent of this one and although it is quite sweet, it isn't too over the top. I hope you're having a lovely week too :) x
DeleteI was thinking about purchasing this perfume last week at work! I tested it and the scent is really lovely. The packaging is totally not me which was the reason why I hesitated on buying it.

I do like the Victoria's Secret scents and have Vanilla Lace and Love Spell in the body sprays. I will have to check out more of their perfumes though as I don't have any of them yet :) x

I was so pleasantly surprised by the price as it is a lot cheaper that I thought it would be. I think this is due to it being out for quite a while now but I'm not complaining! x

DeleteI think I have some samples of this. I really like the light feminine smell of it. Vanilla is always a scent I'm drawn to. When there's a hint of vanilla, I end up liking it more. It also helps that this bottle is absolutely adorable!

It is quite rare for me to repurchase a perfume so it does go to show how much I like it :) I'm too much of a girly girl to pass on anything as cute as this bottle as well! x
