Hi everyone,
Today I am back with the next in my series of my nail polish collection posts and I'm moving on to glitters. Glitter nail polishes are some of my favourites (especially now I have discovered the Sephora Glitter Nail Polish Remover!) so I am splitting this section up according to colour, starting with the silvers and golds.
Left: Tanya Burr in Glitters and Gold, Right: Tanya Burr in Glitter Rain |
Left: Barry M in Gold Glitter, Right: Barry M in Diamond Glitter |
Left: Avon Gold Flecked, Right: Avon Silver Plated |
Left: Rimmel Queen of Bling, Right: Revlon Stunning |
Left: Ciate Celestial, Right: Essie Sparkle on Top |
For nail polish toppers I think my favourites are the two Tanya Burr polishes which I got in her advent calendar last year and are just so pretty. If I am after a full glitter look though, then the Barry M shade in Gold Glitter provides more coverage and just seems to last forever on the nails.
Do you like glitter nail polishes? Which are your favourites?
Thanks for reading,
Hannah xx
In my life I always think that the more glitter the better! ;) I especially love wearing glitter nail shades in the fall/winter- so good for holiday parties!
ReplyDeleteI think that is a great rule to live by and I totally agree, the more glitter the better! :) x
DeleteAll the colors are super prety but definitely my favorite is Ciate Celestial!
ReplyDeleteGreat review~
Celestial is really pretty and I was so happy to find it in my advent calendar a couple of Christmas's ago. It is perfect for over the festive season :) x
DeleteLove the Barry M one, I need to buy Sephora's glitter polish remover! x
ReplyDeletePS. I've nominated you for the Liebster Award here.
I would definitely recommend the glitter nail polish remover. I didn't think it would work that well but now I wouldn't be without it :) And thank you so much for nominating me for the Liebster Award! That is so lovely of you and it has really made my day :) x
DeleteAwesome glitter colors! I love Essie Sparkle <3
ReplyDeleteMERI WILD BLOG
Thank you so much :) Essie do make some fab polish overall but the glitter ones are some of my favourites. x
DeleteI don't wear alot of nail polish but I love the flecks of glitter. The Avon and Rimmel look beautiful! http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
ReplyDeleteGlitter polish is definitely one of my favourites to wear :) x

Thank you :) I'm glad you like them. x
DeleteI looove these nail polishes! They all are so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with a bit of glitter :) x
DeleteI love glitter polishes! I have some of the Nails Inc ones, which are a finer glitter. Rimmel also did the space dust range that was really popular, and I have about 4-5 of those too xx
ReplyDeleteVelvet Blush
Ooh do they still do the space dust ones? I will have to keep my eye out for them :) x
DeleteYES to glittering silver/gold shades and manicure embellishments! It's nice to see Ciate featured here as I looooove their glitter polishes, though Rimmel's Queen of Bling has now caught my eye too - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGabrielle | A Glass Of Ice x
I will have to look out for more of the Ciate ones as I have really been impressed with Celestial. I think the Rimmel Queen of Bling polish was one I found in Poundland so it's worth checking there for a bargain :) x
DeleteI want them all, Hannah! I love all these colors you picked. Thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Much love, Len

ReplyDeleteI adore glitters when it comes to my nails, but it can be a bit to take off sometimes. But, I have tried Sephora's in the past. I'm glad that you're sharing more of your collection, which seems epic in my opinion. Now, I'm off to buy more nail varnish. xx/M
ReplyDeleteFASHION TALES
Aw thank you, I'm glad you like it :) It can be such a pain to remove glitter polish but I have found the Sephora glitter nail polish remover to really help. x
DeleteI love glitter polishes I don't own as much these days though. I think my favorites are O.P.I's Last Friday Night from the Katy Perry Collection, O.P.I Absolutely Alice, and Five and Ten from the O.P.I Breakfast at Tiffany's collection. A mix of blues, with gold!

Oooh the Breakfast at Tiffany's collection sounds lovely, I will have to check that out :) OPI do some really good polishes and I used to love the shade Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection but sadly mine dried up and I had to throw it out. x
DeleteI love adding a little glitter to the mix!

There's always room for a little glitter if you ask me :) x
DeleteOh how pretty! I love glitter nail polishes.

Me too, they are definitely some of my favourites and I always love adding a little glitter, end if it's just on the ring finger or something like that. x
DeleteI do love glitter nail polish but OMG, the removal is such a bloody pain! Is the Sophia remover amazing? Does it removes glitter nail polish easier?
ReplyDeleteShireen⎜Reflection of Sanity
I would really recommend the Sephora glitter nail polish remover as it works so much better than regular nail polish remover. It still isn't quite as easy to get off as normal nail polish as the glitter can rip the cotton wool more easily but I wouldn't be without it now. x
DeleteYou always have the best nail polishes! I love that Berry M- it looks perfect for full coverage. The Ciate Celestial will be so pretty over a blue or aqua polish.

Oooh yes that does sound nice :) I don't wear blue nail polish very often but that combo sounds lovely, especially if you are going on holiday! x
DeleteSuch beautiful glitter polishes! I'd have to say that by the looks of these swatches, I'm loving the Tanya Burr and Avon formulas, I like how the glitter is dispersed, so pretty! Thanks for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you're having a great week so far!

DeleteThey look like they are really an excellent nail polish!

Thank you :) x
DeleteI am so biased to talk about it, since I love nail polishes and glitter - my favorite ones! I know I am always showing ail art, but actually just a coat of glitter is my favorite way! Sorry I have been absent, but I have been so horribly busy at uni! Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDenisesPlanet.com
I love the nail art that you show too though Denise :) Anything that adds a little something extra to a manicure is always a winner with me. I hope your uni work starts to slow down a little bit for you and you can find some time to relax :) Have a fab week! x
DeleteThese are all so pretty. I've always been a fan of glitter nail polishes. x
ReplyDeleteAnn-Marie | http://facetocurls.com/
You really can't beat a little bit of glitter if you ask me :) I would always be up for adding some sparkle to my manicure! x
DeleteGlitter nail polishes are my favourite but due to how difficult I find them to get off, I've always tended to avoid! I'm now heading straight to Sephora's website on your advice!!!
ReplyDeleteMusings & More
They are such a pain to remove and I used to avoid them because of this but now I find it so much easier with the Sephora nail polish remover. You will have to let me know what you think if you do decide to give it a try :) x
