Hi
everyone :)
I
had heard a few good things about the new Sinful Colours nail polishes that
have recently hit Boots stores in the UK so whilst I was in town the other day
I decided to get a couple to try out.
Sinful
Colours is a new brand of nail polishes that started out in the US and have recently
made their way over to Boots stores here in the UK thanks to their popularity
overseas. With quite a large range of shades to choose from including matte, shimmer,
glitter, cream and pearl finishes and at the bargain price at £1.99 each, it’s
easy to see straight away why they have become so popular.
It
was difficult not to go mad and buy a whole bunch of different colours, but
after much deliberation I decided on the shades 24/7 and Love Nails.
This
is the 24/7 polish which, as you can see from the photos, is a very bright,
neon pink colour. I found the polish to be really easy to apply and it also
dried very quickly, which is a definite bonus for someone like me that can’t
sit still! I had glittery pink tips on my acrylic nails and wasn’t sure if the
polish would cover them up, but after two coats you couldn’t see them at all. I
have heard a few comments about the varnish chipping quite easily but with
having acrylic nails it’s difficult to say how well it will last as polish
tends to keep better on acrylics anyway. This varnish actually dried matte but
I added a top coat as I much prefer my nails to be shiny so hopefully that will
help them last longer as well.
Overall
I really love the colour of this polish and think it will be one I use non-stop
in the summer. My first impressions of the Sinful Colours range is really
positive and I will definitely be going back to pick up more varnishes soon :)
Have
any of your guys tried the Sinful Colours range? What did you think of it and
which colours would you recommend?
Thanks
for reading xx
