Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Strip

Hi everyone,

A few months ago I bought the Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette in Streak and absolutely love it (you can read a full review here). As I have used it so much I decided that I wanted to get some of the other Naked Flushed palettes and so last week whilst I was in Manchester I bought the Strip palette.

Strip contains the darkest shades out of the three new options and I was slightly worried that the bronzer would be a little too dark for my pale skin. However, I use the Sigma Duo Fibre brush to get a lighter finish and make sure I’m not too heavy handed with it and the finish is really pretty and not at all too dark. It has a subtle golden shimmer to it which gives a gorgeous sun kissed glow to the skin without being too over the top.

Strip highlighter is a golden shade which has fairly large speckles of shimmer in it. I do feel that this highlighter doesn’t have as much of a highlight effect as some of the others in my collection as it is quite dark and doesn’t show up that well on my skin. I still think it adds a pretty shimmer to the blusher when applied on the cheek bones though.

The blusher in this palette is a deep pink shade which has a matte finish and will be lovely for autumn. I really like this shade and think that it goes really well with the berry coloured lipsticks that I have been wearing recently.

Overall I think I prefer Streak which I bought first over this one but it is very close. I still really like this palette though and will definitely be getting the others in the collection :)

Have you tried any of the Naked Flushed palettes? Which is your favourite?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. I think strip is my favourite I don't use the highlighter in it though because like you said it's more like glitter than highlight but love the blush and bronzer, or if I'm going for a more natural love I love naked, I like streak too but the bronzer is a bit light but the blush and highlight are lovely :) xxx
