Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all having a lovely
weekend. Today’s NOTD is of course from Ciaté as I am still working my way
through the polishes that I got in my Mini Manor advent calendar! This time I
have gone for Strawberry Milkshake with a top coating of Celestial on the
accent finger.
Strawberry Milkshake is a gorgeous
baby pink shade which is so pretty and girly. The only trouble I had was that I
found it to be a bit streaky and you need a good two or three coats to get an
even finish. I think this is the case with a lot of milky, pastel coloured
polishes and I always seem to find them really difficult to work with as they
show up the slightest mistakes. If you’re willing to be patient though then the
finished look is lovely and perfect for spring.
Celestial was the full sized polish
that was behind the number 24 door and I just love it. It’s a super sparkly,
silver glitter polish and looks great on its own or painted over another polish
like I have done.
What do you think of this combo? Which
nail varnish have you been loving recently?
Thanks for reading,
Hannah xx
I find that most pastel, lighter nail polish will look streaky and is trickier to apply. But gosh, that is such a cute pink though, looks absolutely lovely on you.

That's a beautiful combination. I've been loving my recent Nails inc. purchases but I'm trying a new Barry M tonight!

I love the combo! I'm a sucker for glitter when it comes to nails, why not just sprinkle glitter all over the place and add some sparkle :P
ReplyDeleteI found that my mini ciates were quite sheer too and you're right you do need to be patient with them but the finish is so worth it!

@Shireen L. Platt Aw thank you :) I love the polish but it is tricky to apply! xx
ReplyDelete@Sharon Taylor I love Nails inc. too but haven't bought any of their polishes for a while. Which Barry M one did you try? I like the look of the new Quick Dry ones xx
ReplyDelete@Iqra I'm the same, you definitely can't beat a bit of glitter! :) I do love the Ciate polishes but like you say you can't rush it when it comes to applying some of them! xx
