Lush Yoga Bath Bomb Review

Hi everyone,

After a long day yesterday I decided to treat myself to a relaxing Lush bath with the Yoga bath bomb which I had wanted to try since I had heard of its existence! With ingredients that include sandalwood oil to sooth, olibanum oil to help with relaxing and cassie absolute for comfort it sounded right up my street so when I saw it at my local Lush store it went straight into my basket, no questions asked.

I found this bath bomb fizzed slightly slower than others that I have tried, presumably as it is meant to be more of a gentle and relaxing one. It swirled colours of orange, purple and blue together before finally settling on a pale orange / yellow colour with a bit of sparkle from some gold glitter. I have to say this isn’t my favourite and although I knew it was probably going to turn the water this sort of colour when I bought it, I always prefer the ones that go pink, purple or blue shades.

As with all Lush products the Yoga bath bomb smelt absolutely divine and the scent did linger for quite a which after I had gotten out of the bath. I didn’t notice any extra benefits to my skin, for example it didn’t make my skin feel softer or anything like that but for me the main purpose of getting this bath bomb was for its relaxing properties.

Overall I did really enjoy using this bath bomb but I don’t think I would rush to buy it again. There are too many others to choose from and I would also rather repurchase some of my favourites such as Think Pink and Twilight.

Have you tried the Lush Yoga bath bomb? Which Lush products should I try next?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. I am in the minority because I personally find LUSH bath bombs to be overrated. I've tried a few but none that made me want to rush out and buy more. I'm planning to try their mask soon, hopefully I'll like them more.

  2. @Shireen L. Platt The only thing I find with Lush products is that I buy too many so sometimes they go off before I've had chance to use them! I guess that's my fault though for stocking up too much. I really like the masks too and the Mask of Magnaminty is one of my faves :) x

  3. I love the Yoga Bath Bomb, I always relax so much when I use it.
Have you tried the Fizzbanger Bath Bomb? I'm loving the Christmas range so far including the Christingle Body Conditioner which smells so nice and long lasting on the skin, definitely worth a try :) x

  4. I haven't tried this yet but I'm with you - I tend to prefer the bath bombs that turn the water pink, blue, and purple! I'm sure this smells amazing, though. I tried Twilight and really loved it, and I also like Sex Bomb and Butterball :) xx

  5. I've never really tried bathbombs before as they're not my thing, but the swirls of colours look lovely. I agree pink would look more vibrant :)

  8. @VelvetBlush I love the pink ones the most being a girly girl but this one was OK for something a bit different. I only really started using bath bombs last year but now I can't get enough of them! I just find them perfect for unwinding after a long day x
