Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Review

Hi everyone,

As part of my new and improved skin care routine, I have been making a really big effort with body butters and lotions over the last few weeks. This in-shower one from Soap & Glory is perfect for those days when I am in a rush, just feeling a little bit lazy or when I want to give myself that extra pamper and use alongside my normal body moisturisers.

This body wash and butter combined contains 25% moisturising oils such as sweet almond, grapeseed, macadamia nut oils and cocoa and shea butters which leaves your skin feel deliciously smooth and soft. It also smells so yummy, as all Soap & Glory products seem to do, which means that I just can’t wait to use it whenever I have a shower and makes it feel like an extra special treat!

For me, a pet hate that I have is when shower gels and body washes just don’t lather up at all and you end up using a ton of product just trying to feel like you have had a proper wash. I can safely say though that this is one of the best shower products I have used in this respect and you only need to use a tiny amount for it to bubble up really well. It also feels lovely and creamy and once you have rinsed it away you are left with super soft skin, more so than I was expecting!

At £7.00 it is on the pricey side but I don’t mind paying that little bit extra for a product that actually works. I have seen an improvement in the condition of my skin since using Whipped Clean and I will definitely be repurchasing it once this one has run out. The only problem I have is keeping it away from my boyfriend who seems to have taken a liking to it as well!

Have you tried the Soap & Glory Whipped Clean? What do you think of in-shower body lotions?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

    1. It really is very good :) I have just stocked up as there was a 3 for 2 off on and I can see myself using this for a long time! x

  2. I've only tried one S&G product (a hand cream) and only one in-shower body lotion (Nivea). And I hate to say it but I wasn't a fan of either, oops! But hey, I don't mind giving out second chances so maybe I should give this a try.

    1. I was going to try the Nivea one but maybe I'll give it a miss if it's not so good! I'm really glad I started using Whipped Clean though and it has quickly become one of my favourite bath / shower products :) x

  3. I love S&G scents, they are some of the best in the market! I do think S&G products are getting more expensive, maybe they are trying to rebrand themselves as a higher end brand but I just can't see them that way.

    1. I agree, I don't think Soap & Glory would be doing themselves any favours by trying to rebrand as more high end. I love their products and like you say, they all smell amazing, but I don't think I'd be willing to pay much more for them x

  4. I love that shea butter is included, lotions with that ingredient are always so much more soothing on the skin! Great review - I'm always on the lookout for more body creams :)
