NOTD Ciaté Candy Cane

Hi everyone,

Today’s NOTD comes curtesy of my Ciaté Mini Manor advent calendar and is the shade Candy Cane. I decided to go for something glitzy on my nails when I painted them on Thursday as I was going to the Queen and Adam Lambert concert that night. My boyfriend was amazed that I was planning my nail colour around going to see Queen but I boys just don’t get it sometimes!

I really like this nail polish which is a super glittery, deep pink colour. I only had to apply two coats to get this really sparkly finish which I was surprised by as I thought it might have needed a pink base underneath for the colour to really show through. The only downside I have to mention is that I have noticed some of the pink colour chipping off the sparkles leaving silver spots all over my nails. It’s a shame about the chipping as I love the colour and the sparkly finish which makes me feel extra glam when I wear it.

Do you like this nail polish? Which nail polishes are you favourite?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. Eeekkk! That nail polish is GORGEOUS! I love glitter nail polish but avoid them like a plague because it's such a pain in the arse to remove. LOL!

  3. @Shireen L. Platt It is a huge pain to remove but I got a nail varnish remover from Sephora which is specifically for glitter polishes and it's move easier to get off now :) xx

  4. @Marie Sanderson I do love this colour too :) I agree glitter polishes can be such a pain to get off but having acrylic nails I now either get the person doing my nails to file it off or I found a nail polish remover from Sephora which is specifically for glitter polishes and it's actually quite good :) xx
