Book Worm! My Favourite Books

Favourite books!

Hi guys,

I have always been a bit of a book worm and have loved reading for as long as I can remember. As you may see from my selection of favourite books I am definitely a chic lit kind of girl and love a good girly book.

My all-time favourites have to be the Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella and I can’t wait for the new book in the collection, Shopaholic to the Stars, to be released on September 25th. It’s been quite a wait since the last shopaholic book came out so I’m glad there is a new one on its way soon!

I think my second favourites are the I Heart series by Lindsey Kelk which follows the adventures of Angela as she travels from city to city and blogs about her life as she goes. I only discovered these books quite recently and have read the first three in the collection. I can’t wait to get stuck into the next ones though and I’m sure I’ll have finished them in no time as I can never put them down once I’ve started!

Cecilia Ahern is another author which I have discovered recently and I loved reading her latest book How to Fall in Love. The Time of My Life is also really good and they are both quite thought provoking and have a bit of a deeper message behind them.

Other favourite authors of mine include Jane Costello, Carmen Reid and Candace Bushnell, in particular One Fifth Avenue and of course Sex and the City! I love settling down in the evening and getting stuck into a good book and since getting my Kindle it’s so easy to just download new books after I have finished one. However, it really doesn’t feel like you’re spending money which is bad for my bank balance!

Are you a book worm like me? Which books would you recommend?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. I'm becoming a book hoarder. I bought two last month which I haven't read, the other day I bought another three which have been untouched and a few hours ordered another two which are actually from Lindsey Kelk. I am currently reviewing a book for an author and downloaded about seven on to my Kindle which are freebies. I've made a promise not to purchase anymore but maybe a few will go on my christmas list. I love Sophie Kinsella, I recently read what's your number? - I think - and loved it, so I bought two from her the other day. I recently read a book from Jane Costello too. x

  3. One Fifth Ave makes me want to get back into reading. The cover is so adorable and I know, I know. You're not suppose to judge a book by it's cover, but I can't help it, Lol. :)

  4. @Kate Musgrove I am totally the same! I have so many books that are just sat there waiting to be read and I really need to stop buying more until I've finished them all. My friend is also a book addict though and lends me loads of hers to read so it's just never ending! :) xx

  8. @Sierra Calah I know it's really bad but if the cover is really nice then it does make me want to read a book more. I think it's a bit nicer to collect them as well when they have a nice cover xx
