NOTD - Tanya Burr Cosmetics Be Bright, Be Happy Be You

Hi everyone,

Although summer is still a fair few months away, I have recently found myself getting a bit bored of the dark, winter colours that I have been wearing on my nails and wanted something brighter and more cheery. That’s why when I received this bright pink nail polish from Tanya Burr Cosmetics for Christmas, I was happy for the change and couldn’t wait to try it out.

This shade is called Be Bright, Be Happy, Be You which I think is a great name and I really love the girly pink colour. It is possibly slightly darker on the nails than I was expecting, but I do mean only slightly and this makes it a perfect change over from the darker, more wintery colours I have wearing a lot recently.

The formula seems good and the polish applies really easily, providing a very opaque colour after two coats. I always find it difficult to comment on chipping as having acrylic nails means that polishes last longer, so I don’t feel like I could pass judgement on it in that sense. I have never had any problems with the other nail varnishes in this range though so I would expect that this one would be no different.

I think I will be trying more bright colours over the next few weeks as I really couldn’t be more ready for summer and a bit of sunshine to replace the rain filled days we have got used to. Even though I still have a while to wait I am enjoying adding little bits of colour here and there to make myself feel a bit sunnier!

Which nail polishes are you using at the moment? What do you think of this one from Tanya Burr Cosmetics?

Thanks for reading,

Hannah xx

  1. First of all, I love the shape of your nails and that shade is seriously bright and just gorgeous on you! I haven't been painting my fingernails recently, they are not in the best shape with some cracking. :-/

    1. Thank you Shireen :) I've really been enjoying wearing a brighter colour for a change! Underneath my acrylics my natural nails are in terrible condition, I really need to give them a breather and let them get healthier again. x
